James Mayford Kerr, age 84, of Maryville went home to be with the Lord on July 31, 2022.  Mayford was born in Blount County, TN on October 13, 1937.  Mayford worked at Vinylex for 30 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Lela Kerr; sister, Reba Faye McDaniel; brother, Darrell Kerr; and son-in-law, James L. Stinnett Jr.  He is survived by his wife, Jewel Kerr; children, Debbie (John) Greene, Connie (Pacer) Hepperly, and Joel (Debbie) Kerr; grandchildren, Jimmy Stinnett, Megan Turner, Josh Hepperly, Cameron Kerr, Hunter Hepperly, and Haley Kerr; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Burchfield and Wanda Jackson.  Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, August 5, 2022 at RIO Revolution, Rev. Pacer Hepperly, Rev. John Greene, Rev. Josh Hepperly officiating.  Interment will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Cades Cove Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at RIO Revolution.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
