James Edward Gooden age 73, went to home to be with the Lord November 28, 2024. He was a native and resident of Maryville, TN.

James was born November 17, 1951. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1977. He spent over forty years working at Alcoa Aluminum Company and retired in 2014.

James loved spending time with his family, fishing, working on cars. He was a man of many interests and talents. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Genevieve Gooden, brother Quinton, sister Donna. Survived by his loving wife of 24 years Pam Gooden, children Jimmy, Steve, Emelie, grandchildren Jay, Chase, Oona, Oren, River, siblings Mary, Janice and Johnny. The family will be having a call of convenience on Monday December 2, 2024

At Miller Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  A Graveside service will be held  2:00 PM on December 3, 2024, at Morganton Cemetery with Edward Ray Teffeteller officiating. Arrangements made by Miller Funeral Home 915 W. Broadway Maryville, TN 37801.
