James Douglas "Doug" Boruff age 74 of Maryville passed away, Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Decorated Purple Heart Veteran and he enjoyed fishing and nascar racing. Preceded in death by parents, Eskie and Dessie Boruff; brothers, Marvin and Samuel Boruff; sisters, Mary Helen Whitehead and Evelyn Carver; beloved one's Gladys and Linda Weaver; nephews, Joseph Whitehead and Michael "Shorty" Carver and Timothy Boruff.

Survived by son, Bryan Douglas Boruff; sister and devoted caretaker, Dorothy "Dottie" Knox, Imogene "David" Shinpaugh; host of nieces and nephews and friends and loved one's. Special thanks to Blount Home Health "Micah" and Blount Hospice. Thank you to Dr. Schrock's practice, "Christi" for their dedicated care and help with his battle through cancer.
