Ira Trentham, age 91, of Seymour, TN went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 27, 2023.

He served in the US Army and was a Korean War Veteran.  Ira was a home builder in Blount County for several years until he retired.  He loved making his wood crafts all the way up until his last day on Earth.  Ira was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Trentham; parents, Lonnie and Mary Trentham.

He is survived by wife of 70 years, Polly Gilbert Trentham; son, Rick and Pam Trentham; grandsons, Travis and Brittney Trentham, Josh and Laura Trentham; great-grandchildren, Zoe, Ella, Levi, and Josie Trentham; and special niece, Brenda Guffey Ownby.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday, April 3, 2023 at Miller Funeral Home, the family will be present from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM Monday.  Graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at Levi Trentham Cemetery in Elkmont.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
