Howard Franklin Umberger, age 85 of Maryville passed away on March 31, 2023 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, a very proud member of the United States Air Force, serving 20 years and a Vietnam War veteran. He was preceded in death by parents; Hubert and Virginia Clark Umberger. And sister Christine Lambert. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Faye Umberger; daughter; Paula Umberger, son; Danny Umberger; and grandchildren; Katharine Siprelle, Hunter Umberger, and Danny Umberger. Nieces; Rebecca Bonham Bryant, Tracy Bonham, Rebecca Davidson, Danielle Hogan, and Amanda Smith. Stepmother; Charlotte Umberger. Brother-in-law; Roger Moore.
