Howard Alton Miller, age 87, of Alcoa went home to be with the Lord, Friday, May 3, 2024.  He was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, former elder of Clark's Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a Former member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Mote Miller; sisters, Jean Jarrett and Dean Droom.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara Miller; children, Vickie (Greg) Russell, Angie (Jeff) Daffron, and Missie Miller; grandchildren, Katie (David) Warren, Isaac Daffron, and Sarah (Isaac) Pottorff; brother, Neil (Mary) Miller; and brother-in-law, Raymond (Pat) Vandaveer.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. David Warren officiating, interment will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
