HERBERT JEROME YEAROUT

Herb, as he was known by his family, his horseback riding, deer hunting and gun collecting friends was born October 07, 1940 and left us April 8th, 2026

Herb was born in the Six Mile Community and lived there most of his 86 years except for his training in the TN Air National Guard.  Herb was preceded in death by his parents Mitchell and Retta Holder Yearout.  Brothers Raymond, James (Dortha), William (Lois).  Sisters Delsa (Jack) Brown, Derotha (Ray) Garner, Betty Jo (Hershal) Merriman, Polly Yearout.  Nephews Dwight Yearout and Douglas Brown.  He is survived by 10 nieces and nephews and their families.  Herb was papaw to the four daughters and their families of his longtime love June Whitehead.  The viewing will be Sun April 12, 1-2 pm at Miller Funeral Home, 915 Broadway Ave with burial to follow at  Forest Hill Cemetery 1850 Forest Hills Rd.
