Helen Murphy, 78, of Maryville passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025.  Helen was born on December 10, 1946, to James and Margaret Turpin.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret; husband, Arthur Allen Murphy; and sister, Katherine Hill.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Tonia Nadine (John) Covington; grandson, John Michael Allen Covington, Matthew Bradley (Jessica) Covington; great-grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Grace Covington and Kameron Bradley Covington; sisters, Ellen Blair and Ruby Murphy; brother, Billy Turpin; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Rev. Charlie Carpenter officiating.  The family will be at the funeral home for friends to pay their respects from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
