Helen Jean "Miss Jean" Burnett passed away peacefully at home in the same house she was born in on Saturday, October 22, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Burnett; parents, James and Bessie Rogers; brothers, Glen Rogers and wife, Evelyn, Raymond "Shorty" Rogers; sister, Evelyn Rogers Jackson, Ernestine and husband, Carlton Dilbon; and niece, Tracy Rogers.  She is survived by her sister-in-law, Iva Lea; nieces and nephews, Terry and Ronnie Becker, Darlene and James Chapman, Ronnie Goodwin, Ronnie Rogers, Amy Rogers, Jimmy and Linda Rogers.  Jean was a member of Greenback Baptist Church and was proud of playing basketball for Greenback during her school days.  Jean and her husband, Jim owned and operated Burnett family Restaurant and Barbecue for several years in Maryville.  Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Greenback Baptist Church, Rev. Lon Shockley officiating, interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12 :00 PM at Greenback Baptist Church.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
