Harold Edward "Ed" Franklin, age 73, of Maryville went home to be with the Lord, Monday, December 1, 2025.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. James Leonard and Nellie Franklin.

Ed is survived by his son, Harold Edward Franklin Jr.; sisters, Betty Jo Holder and Gale Goforth; brothers, James Avery Franklin and Howard Wade Franklin; special friend and caretaker, April Ridge.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Miller Funeral Home, Pastor Tim Townsend officiating.  Interment will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Happy Valley Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery "Red Top".  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
