Glenda "Kay" Thomas, 73 of Greenback received her heavenly healing on September 3, 2025 surrounded by her family at home.

Kay was a beloved member of the community, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith. Her life was a reflection of grace and love, touching hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Doug Thomas; children, Matt( Kellie) Graves, Brad (Mary Beth) Thomas, Kaci (Jeremy) Isabell; grandchildren, Shaun, Audrey, Bryson, Makella, Mason, Noah, and Mattie; loving sister, June (Tex) Headrick; sisters-in-law, Pam (Wendell) Tipton and Penny (Hal) Helms; life long friends, Dora Jane Satterfield and Debbie Gaston; and several nieces and nephews.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Fate and Minnie Lovin and in-laws, Clyde and Bettye Thomas.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Monique and Melissa from Prisma Hospice and Becky Moneymaker for the wonderful care provided through the years.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation be made to either Meadow UMC or Cloyd's Creek Cemetery building funds.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Scott Knight officiating. Interment will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday at Axley Chapel Cemetery, Rev. David Myers officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
