Gary Allen Tipton, 50, loving husband and loving father and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Wednesday, January 12, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Michael Tipton and Edith Marie Garland Smith; grandparents, Joe and Ruby Tipton and Ed and Callie Garland all of Maryville.  Gary was a brick and block mason with a love for Z28 Camaro's and Four wheeling.  He loved spending time with his family.  His passion was being a husband and a father, and a pa.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Charity Tipton; son, Josh Tipton, daughter and son-in-law, Krista and Christian Cook; step-daughter and son-in-law, Kelsey and Taylor York; son, Nickolas Tipton; step-son, Kaleb Ray; grandsons, Luca and Leo Cook; granddaughter, Ruby Mae Cook.  Graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2022 at Centenary Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
