Joseph Garrison Lovingood, 71, of Maryville, passed away peacefully on his farm on Monday, June 23, 2025, surrounded by his three daughters. Garrison had a deep love for nature and was a devoted steward of the family farm, which has been in the Lovingood family for over 100 years. His connection to the land extended into his favorite pastimes—fishing, crabbing, and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Smith Lovingood and Martha Ijams Lovingood, and his sister, Becky Waller.

He is survived by his daughters, Ginger Lovingood, Natalie Luther, and Sarah Kronemeyer; his grandchildren, Benjamin Campbell, Alexander Campbell, Abigail Luther, Corbin Luther, Isla Luther, Emily Kronemeyer, and Thomas Kronemeyer; his sisters, Mary Lovingood Gallant and Kathy Lovingood; and his former wife and lifelong friend, Patricia Lovingood.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kevin James and Dr. Travis Groth for their exceptional care.
