Fred Lee "Buddy" Goforth age 86 of Maryville, TN passed away on June 10, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Goforth and Mary Teffeteller Goforth Lowe, wife of 47 years Betty Boring Goforth, son; Jamie Goforth, Grandson; Randall Quiett, Brothers; Doug (Sharon) Goforth, Bill (Mae) Goforth, sisters; Louise Starrett, Cora Herron, and Edith (S.V) Hamby. He is survived by his wife of 22 ½ years, Evelyn Evans Goforth, children; Gail (Dean) Mullins, Anita (Roger) Forsythe, Randy Goforth, Melissa (Jason) Steelman, and Ronnie (Kim) Goforth, stepchildren; Connie Jones, Rhonda Hawkins, and Billy Green. Grandchildren; Deanna (Bill) Buckner, Adam (Sonja) Mullins, Jonathan (Connie) Swicegood, Emily (C.J) Leith, Jennifer, Travis and Logan Goforth, Jonathan J. Blair, Rebeka (Jake) Ervin, Tyler Goforth and Emily Rhea Goforth, Josh and Jimmie Jollay, Jessica and Dewayne Schrimsher, Danny Schrimsher, Blake Crowe. Great grandchildren Parker Sise, Taylor Everett, Isaac Miskell and Emory Pedigo, Zachary and Bryson Swicegood, Ethan Sutley, Aiden Mullins, Leigha Grant, Erin Quiett, Lincoln Ervin, sister, Frankie Jenkins, and numerous nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren. The family would like to thank BMH Hospice nurses, bath aides, social workers, Chaplain Volunteer Susie, and the preferred care givers. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday June 14, 2023, at 2 pm at Allegheny Baptist Church with Darrel Croft and Jerry Little officiating with a graveside service to follow. Visitation from 12:00-2:00pm at Allegheny Baptist Church.
