Frances Maxine Vaughn Carter, age 90, of Maryville passed away Wednesday, August 21st peacefully with her daughter and granddaughters by her side. She loved gardening, gospel music, tending to flowers, word search puzzles, and spending time with her daughters and grandbabies. Preceded in death by her husband of 40 years Edward Vaughn and husband of 23 years Meek Carter; parents, George and Ruby Eisenhower, brothers; J.P. Eisenhower, Arthur Lee Eisenhower, and Jimmy Eisenhower; sister; Margaret Lambert. Survived by daughters; Judy Vaughn Enloe, Tammi Vaughn Cooper, great granddaughters; Keylee and Kerri Paine. Brothers; Clifford Eisenhower, Ernest Eisenhower, Steven Eisenhower. Sisters; Johnnie Manning, Mary Alice Coulter, Pat Morgan, Lola Maples, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, August 27th at 1:00 PM at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dale Buchanan will be officiating.
