Felix Edward Spence, age 91, of Maryville passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his home.  Felix retired from the City of Maryville School System in 1994, and was a member of Carpenters Campground United Methodist Church.  He joined the Masons in Battle Creek, Michigan and transferred to the Mt. View Lodge #519.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ed Spence; and brothers, Joe, Robert, Bill, A.P., Steve, and Walter Spence.  He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Nina Spence; daughters, Rose Fields, Nina (David) Beasley, and Judy (Charles) Wilson; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Kerr; brother, John Spence; and a host of nieces and nephews.  A special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice nursing care.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Carpenters Campground UMC, 3538 Best Rd Maryville, TN 37803.  Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Carpenters Campground UMC Cemetery.  Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
