Faye Coada Johnson, age 98, of Maryville passed away at the home of her daughter, Sandra, on January 15, 2024.  Faye was born in Cades Cove on December 6, 1925 to John Calvin Coada and Mary Jane Cable Coada.  She was a member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church since 1948. She was a charter member of The Cades Cove Preservation Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Johnson; son, David Ray Johnson; parents and siblings, Ray, Roy, Leon, and Jerry Coada, June Jones, Johnnie Shinpaugh, and Mary Ruth Hunt.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Campbell, Karen Huskey, and Vickie Keck; grandchildren, James Johnson, David Breeden, Bettye Wilson, Shannon Odom, and Talehma Bright; 9 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Dr. Charles Bailey officiating.  Family will receive friends from  2:00 to 3:00 Sunday. A private graveside will be held at a latter date.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
