Elmer Grady Landers, age 98, of Maryville went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 29, 2024.  Grady served in World War II as a Navy Coxswain and retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company in July 1992 after 41 years of service.  Grady was also an active lifetime member of Salem Baptist Church.

Grady was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Mildred Etheleen Landers; children, Susan Jane Landers (Tommy) Raulston and Dalbert Anthony Landers; and grandson, Jared Landers.

Grady is survived by his children, Andy (Pam) Landers, Cindy Landers, Koki (Mark) Best, and Micah (Jana) Landers; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation and love for Teresa Hurst, longtime friend.  The family also wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Blount Memorial Hospice and the Blount Memorial Hospice Employees, Amy and Melissa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Salem Baptist Church Cemetery fund.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Salem Baptist Church, Rev. Jeff Pike and Rev. Toby Downey officiating, interment will follow at the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday at Salem Baptist Church.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville
