Ella Sue Pilkington, 90, our beloved and best friend went home to be with Jesus and family on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her home with family by her side.  Our thanks to the ones who prayed many prayers for her and family, she will be sadly missed but Heaven received a precious loved one.

Sue was a member of Gospel Temple Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband Lester Ray Pilkington and daughter Sandra K. Cummings.

Sue is survived by her sons, Roger Pilkington, Jimmy (Amie) Pilkington; daughters, Gail (Ron) Young and Shirley (Jerry) Little; grandchildren, Curtis (Pam) Cooper, Jessie (Amanda) Cummings, Kathy (Robert) Williams, Becky Young, Tommy King, Terry Landz, and Deon Landz; 21 great-grandchildren; our Knob Road Baptist Church family; and many nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and especially to Emily and Monica.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Darrell Croft, Rev. Marcus Little, and Rev. James Willis officiating.  The interment will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Four Mile Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home.
