Elizabeth I. Owens, age 91, of Maryville passed away, Wednesday, August 23, 2023.  She was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Rachel O'Neal; husband, Clifford Owens; son, Charles "Bud" Owens; granddaughter, Natalie Owens; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Mary O'Neal; sisters and brothers-in-law, Odessa and JW Phillips, Della and Max Waters, and Charlotte and Jack Moffett; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lee and Elizabeth Owens.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Lynn Coulter; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth S. Owens; siblings, Juanita "Poochie" and the late, Kevin Maguire, Neal O'Neal and the late, Judy O'Neal, and Ruby and the late, Doyle Taylor; grandchildren, Shawn Coulter, Christy Coulter, and Faith Owens; great-grandchildren, Snow Coulter, Shawna Coulter, Greyson, and Axyl Veach; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oak Street Baptist Church, 218 Oakdale St. Maryville, TN 37801.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 25, 2023 at Clark's Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Clayton O'Neal officiating.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
