Edith Rowena Lindsey Johnson, age 89, of Maryville entered into her Heavenly home on Monday, October 24, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Johnson; parents, Lonzo and Minnie Lindsey; brother, Glenn Lindsey.  Edith was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.  Survivors include her son, Donnie Johnson and girlfriend, Donna Burns; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Melissa Johnson; her grandchildren that were her world, Makayla and Hunter Johnson; nieces, Pam Lindsey and Glenda Copeland. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Fairpark Nursing Home for their care.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Tennessee, 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919.  Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Landmark Baptist Tabernacle, Rev. Aaron Caldwell and Rev. Mike Arp officiating, interment will follow at Middlesettlements Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday at Landmark Baptist Tabernacle.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
