Douglas Truman Little, age 78, of Madisonville formerly Maryville, went home to be with the Lord and family Monday, August 7, 2023.  He was one of God's special children and an honorary member of Knob Road Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery and Minnie Little; sisters, Ann Elizabeth Baker and Edith Bruner; brother, David Little.

He is survived by his brothers, Jerry Little Sr and Terry Little Sr.; sister, Lisa Glasgow; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Thanks to Madisonville Healthcare and Rehab and Amedisys Hospice, and a special thanks to Eva Hughes for all the special care she gave him.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Knob Road Baptist Church, Rev. Marcus Little, Rev. James Willis, and Rev. Opie Stinnett officiating.  Interment will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Rutledge Pike Baptist Church Cemetery, Pall bearers will be Dakota Pledge, Noah Pledge, Kory Davidson, Seth Davidson, and Scotty Kidd.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Knob Road Baptist Church.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
