Dorothy Jean (Ray) Mills, age 94, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital.  She was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church in Greenback for over 80 years where she taught Children's Sunday School classes for many of those years.  Preceded in death by her husband, Bob Mills; parents, Creed and Annie Ray; sisters, Charlotte Henry and Ruth Best; and brother, Fred Ray.  Survivors include: daughters, Diane Mills and Vickie Wheeler, and husband, Mark, all of Maryville; granddaughters, Cayla Wheeler and fiancée, Nick Bales of Maryville, Christa Johnson and husband, Tyler, of Clarksville.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oakland United Methodist Church, Attention: Memorial Fund, 234 Trigonia Rd. Greenback, TN 37742.  Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Rev. Betty Furches officiating.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
