Dorothy Jean Kirkland, age 79, of Maryville passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Kirkland; and parents, Allen and Janie Russell. She is survived by her children, Russell Kirkland; Beverly (Mark) Russell, and Kevin (Toni) Kirkland; grandchildren, Taylor (Dakota) Sneed, Kayla Kirkland, and Mikey Kirkland; two great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon (Laverne) Prince; and several nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home.  Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 26, 2022 at Baker's Creek Cemetery, Rev. James Wells officiating.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
