Dennis Lynn Brackin, 80 passed away peacefully at the family home on March 8, 2024. He now abides in heaven with family, friends and his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Judy Ann Brackin, his mother, Freddie Brackin, father, John Brackin and ten brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his second wife Patricia "Pitter" Brackin, his sons and spouses; Dennis Lynn Jr., Gregory and Miranda, Jason and Kendra, grandchildren; Savanna, Noah, Gregory Darrell Jr., Matthew, LeAnna, Titus and Miriam and 2 great grandchildren; stepdaughters and spouse, Kari and Lee Whisman, Sophia Haworth; step grandchildren, Chancli, Jessica and Cabot and 3 step great grandchildren.

He was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church where he had served faithfully as deacon, music director and numerous other roles. He currently attended Lanier Open Bible Baptist Church with his family.

He retired from the Aluminum Company of America and enjoyed mowing, gardening, and eating at Captain D's.

The family will assemble Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Bro. Greg Long officiating.
