Dean Barbra, 90, of Walland, went home to be with the Lord, September 2, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, JC Barbra; son, Virgil Alex Barbra; parents, Willie and Alex Millsaps; siblings, Otha, George, Bessie, Lexie, Jean, Elsie, Ellen, Dorothy, Jim, and Carol.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Laura Barbra; daughter and son-in-law, Tijuana and Curtis Fowler; granddaughter, Delilah Barbra; special niece and nephew, Jama and Junior Ford; and many other beloved nieces and nephews who thought of Dean as a 2nd mother.

She retired from Heritage High School Cafeteria after many years serving the students she loved.  She enjoyed quilting, reading, puzzle books and visiting with family and friends.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Gerald Ivey officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
