Darle Lou Carlson Wood Null, Greenback TN, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Darle was born June 13, 1926, in Scottsbluff NE to Oscar and Muriel Carlson. Darle was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Judith, husband Leonard (Wishbone) Null, sister and brother-in-law Naureen and Bill Franklin, Brother, and sister-in-law Bill and LouAnn Carlson, brothers-in-law Jim Peacock, Udell rivers and John Yost, special friends John and Freda Souza.

Darle is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kristine and Howard Harris whom she made her home with. She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law Randy (Darlene) Wood of Sutherlin OR, son Rickie Wood Sr of Kelseyville CA, son, and daughter-in-law Terry (Linda) Wood of Colorado Springs, Co and son Ed Null of Middletown CA, sister and brother-in-law Jan (Ken) Frederick of Bloomington IL, sister Joan Rivers of Montrose CO and sister Louise Yost of Waunakee Wi, brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Jeanne Carlson, 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Darle was a Bonus Mom to several and is survived by her Special Bonus Children – John (Edna) Souza of Portland OR, Lorraine (Rich) Egger, Debbie (Andy) Snell, Joe Souza all of Middletown CA, Laurie (Mark) Snell of Tucson, AZ. Darle was blessed with 10 Bonus grandchildren and 13 Bonus great grandchildren.

Family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Baker's Creek Presbyterian Church, P O Box 274 Greenback TN 37742, C/O Sally Clark Memorial Scholarship fund. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Darle's caregiver, Charlsey Page. Charlsey was a true blessing to us all, especially Darle who considered her a very close friend. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Blount Memorial Hospital on 5 South and to the Blount Memorial Hospice staff that helped us care for Mom during her last couple of weeks.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Baker's Creek Presbyterian Church, the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Saturday at Baker's Creek Presbyterian Church.
