Obituary

Craig Cothern is free as a bird now. He passed away comfortably at home of natural causes on November 26th, 2020 at the age of 60. Craig was born in Alma, Georgia, never let go of his roots and was a proud Georgia Bulldog fan his entire life. Craig is survived by his brother, Charles Cothern; his son, Joey Cothern; his daughter, Amanda "Mandy" Mink; and five beloved grandchildren, Kiera, Damien, Aryane, Alexys, and Kyleigh who fondly referred to him as Papaw Craig. Craig had numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family as well. Craig lived a full life, was a veteran of the United States Army, and was a Jack-of-all Trades, but a master of none. Craig will be remembered for his quick wit, quiet laughter, and the love he had for his family. He will be missed but rather than allowing us to dwell in sadness he wanted us to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Miller Funeral Home or contact Mandy and Joey.  A private graveside service will be held. Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home in Maryville, Tennessee
