Claudette Chambers, age 61, passed away peacefully and went home to be with her Heavenly Father on January 29, 2025, at The Waters of Maryville after a brief illness. Claudette was born on August 22, 1963, and a native of Blount County. Her longtime passion and enjoyment were singing at her church and listening to gospel music.

Claudette was preceded in death by her parents James "Mack" and R. Bell Downey Chambers, three brothers William "Bill", Jim and Richards Chambers, sister Bobbie Jean Chambers McCall, nephew Brian Lynn Huffstetler.

She leaves behind three sisters Libby (Steve) Ritchey, Rhonda (Scott) Coughenour, Mary Alice (Ricky) Huffstetler and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends that will forever cherish the memories of her.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at The Waters of Maryville and Chandra Garland with UT Hospice for their support and care for Claudette.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Miller Funeral Home with funeral service immediately following Rev. Ben Ward officiating. A graveside will be held on Tuesday February 4, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
