Christopher A. Livesay age 64, a local contractor and log home builder, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Happy Valley on July 18 ^th 2022. He was a member of Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Morristown West High School and attended Walter State Community College. He is preceded in death by his parents Anderson and Maxine Livesay of Morristown.

He is survived by his wife Joy Frye Livesay and children Jessica (J.R.) Henard, Christopher Livesay, Dylan Livesay, Cory Livesay, Andy Hancox, and David (Baylan) Hancox. Grandchildren, Keely, Kaylan, and Kenton Henard,; Luke, Jameson, and Paisley Hancox,; and Knox Livesay; his two sisters Linda (Dan) Rankin and Pamela Livesay and several nieces and nephews. The love of his life was cooking for his family, friends, and church. Celebration of life will be held at Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church on July 30 ^th . Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 with celebration of life starting at 12:00. Pastor Chris McInnis and Steve Whitehead will be officiating. Fellowship meal will be provided after by the Happy Valley Community Club.
