Chester E. Dailey, age 91, of Knoxville Our beloved dad went to his heavenly home Wednesday night, August 3, 2022. We find comfort knowing that Dad (Chet) and Mom (Birdy), infant sons, Donnie and Lester are together once more. A beautiful sight to behold. Chet was a Korean War veteran and a 32nd degree Mason South Knoxville Lodge #769. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Steve); sons, Carson (Tammy), Johnny (Paige), Craig, and Terry; grandsons, Jeremy (Elizabeth), Zach (Ally), and Colby; granddaughters, Danielle and Amber; great-grandchildren, Gabe, Victoria, Logan, Vincent, Brooklyn, Abby, Vada, and Olivia. A special thanks and deepest gratitude to special caretakers, Susan Wilson, Pam Smith and the UT Hospice Team.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to East Tennessee Veteran's Honor Guard, PO Box 22802 Knoxville, TN 37933. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Frank Cannon officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
