Bret Edward Hill passed away April 17, 2026. He was born March 13, 1980, to Eddie and Phyllis Hill. He was a loving and caring Dad to 3 wonderful children. He worked at Food City for over 30 years where he went through manager training and was a manager.

He loved sports, especially his daughter Olivia's swim meets, Peyton and Chance's basketball games and Peyton's baseball games. He loved UT football, basketball, and baseball games, and any sports on TV.

He is a direct descendant of Cades Cove and survived by his parents Eddie and Phyllis Hill, children Olivia, Peyton and Chance. Sister Bridget (Randy) Watson and nephew Jacob Watson. The children's mother's Allyson Fliegner-Webb and Brittany Large and special friend Lorie Watson. And lots & lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by grandparents Henry and Kate Hill and Leon and Johnnie Sparks.

We love you Bret so much and will miss you. No more pain. Go rest high on that mountain. We'll see you again soon.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday April 20, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday April 20th, 2026, at 7:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel, Reverend Alex Jones officiating. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 21, 2026, at 11:00 am at Cloyd's Creek Cemetery.
