Brenda "Turkey" Joyce Coppenger Lawson, age 73, of Rockford went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 22, 2024.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Knoxville.  She loved her brothers and sisters and all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a long time softball player.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ralph Lawson Sr.; children, Richard (Cindy) Lawson, Tracie (Randy) Hayes, and Billie (Jeff) Haynes; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; 4 brothers; and a host of beloved family and friends.

Graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Grandview Cemetery, Rev. Damon Gibson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
