Betty Evelyn Watson, age 83, passed away on October 9, 2026 with her family by her side. She was a faithful Christian and a member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Sam Watson; her daughters, Renee Hunter (Don) and Stephanie McMullen (Mike); her grandchildren, Blake, Brooke, Madison, Morgan, and Melissa; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Judy (Ben) Rentz and Norman Vaden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rollo and Ruby Jones Vaden, and her siblings, Bobbie, Dean, Keith, Paul, Lynn, Larry, and Steve.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the Caris Hospice Team for their kindness, care, and compassion.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements made by Miller Funeral home 915 W. Broadway Maryville, TN 37801.

Betty will be dearly missed by her family and friends, but the love and memories she leaves behind will forever remain in their hearts.
