Betty “Pepper” Lorene Cooper, age 59, of Louisville went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 18, 2026. She retired from DENSO Inc., in Maryville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Betty Cooper; infant sister, Ida Mae Cooper and sister, Darlene Hawkins.

Pepper is survived by her children, Elyshia (David Martin) Cooper, Whitney (Cody) Daugherty, and Bradley Cooper; her pride and joy grandchildren, Logan, Aleigha, Keehen, Melanie, Kelsey, Brooklyn, Eli, Landon, Annabella, and Allie; siblings, John (Tuyet) Cooper, Linda (Tom) Yates, and Eddie (Leighann) Cooper; brother-in-law, Bill Hawkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. David Cooper officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
