Betty Jane Garibay, age 83, of Maryville passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022.  She was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, and an active member of Williamson Chapel UM Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bentura Garibay Sr.; daughter, Karen Herrera; great-granddaughter, Lily Ann Cooper; parents, Pop and Nina Braden; and sister, Sherry Millsaps.  She is survived by her children, George (Melinda) Garibay, Ben (Lisa) Garibay, Renee Thilman, John (Julie) Garibay; grandchildren, Lori (Brandon) Cooper, Rachel (Josh) Underwood, Jordon (Stephanie) Herrera, Samantha (Pablo) Kirk; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Billie Payne, Mike Braden, and Edwina Neace; several nieces and nephews; and her favorite girls in Florida.  Graveside service and interment will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Williamson Chapel Cemetery.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
