Bennie (Sauls) Presley, 73, passed away on June 12, 2022, at Ft. Sanders Medical Center.  She was born on November 24, 1948 and attended Alcoa High School.  She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and sister.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Velma Sauls; husband, Richard Presley; brother, Jim Ed Sauls; sisters, Mary Nell Nasser and Carolyn Orr.  She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Compton and grandson, Kyan; son, Tommy Presley and granddaughter, MacKenzie; brothers-in-law, George Nasser and David Orr; nephews, John Hubbs, Scott Orr, and Doug Orr; great-nephews, Taylor and Zach Hubbs; cousin, Fred (Diane) Parrott; and extended family, Nicholas, Logan, and Benjamin Farmer.  Peace I leave with you, my peace I will give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  John 14:27. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Pastor Ben Ward officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
