Ben Lee Tarwater age 92 passed Thursday March 7, 2025. Ben is preceded in death by his loving wife, Beulah Jean (Orr); son, Don; daughter, Karen; parents: E.R. and Bessie Lee Tarwater; brothers: Ross Lynten, John, Jack, Joe.

Survived by daughters, Linda Seaton (Bob), Sandra McKeehan (Darrell); daughter-in-law, Blanche. He was well loved by all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special friends Violet Wolfe and family.

Ben retired from ALCOA after more than 35 years. He loved farming, gardening, canning and cooking. His friendly, teasing and smiling personality will be missed by all. A special thanks to Dr. Ingram and to the Brookdale Sandy Springs staff.

Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Ron Sabo and Rev. Jimmy Guider officiating.  Interment will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Pine Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
