Rev. Beecher Whitehead passed away peacefully into his Heavenly home on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the age of 88 years old.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. James and Vina Whitehead.  Beloved Husband, Daddy, Pappy, and Pastor he is survived by his loving wife, Janette; daughters, Belinda Wilcox and Pam (Frank) Daniel; grandchildren, Sacha Purciful, Erica (Steven) Rogers, Kayla (Russ) Warren, Tessa (Ken) Betz, Katie (Jake) Hutsell, and Beecher Daniel; great-grandchildren, Lyla Tharp, Connor Purciful, Parker Rogers, Jordan Rogers, and Tucker Warren; and brother and sister-in-law, Benny and Ann Whitehead. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church, 6525 Happy Valley Rd., Tallassee, TN 37878.  Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Clifton Hearon and Rev. Parker Benson officiating.  Interment will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
