Barbara Jean Farmer, age 81, of Townsend went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 28, 2024, at her home.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Farmer; son, Robert Farmer; parents, Margie and Joe Webb; brothers, Wade Webb and Daniel Webb; and sister, Betty Sue Ownby.

She is survived by her children, Suzie (Dennis) Townsend, Sandy (Jimmy) Huskey, John (Janet) Farmer, Jason (Michelle) Farmer; daughter-in-law, Susie Farmer; ten grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Webb and David Webb; sisters, Bernice Bock, Lucille Hatcher, Lillie McNeilly, and Zinnie Hannah; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 2, 2024, at Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
