Barbara Elaine Byrd, age 81, of Maryville went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, August 16, 2026. She was a member of Springview Baptist Church and was an avid Tennessee Smokies fan and season pass holder. Barbara loved traveling with 4 By Grace gospel quartet and worked their merchandise table.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hoyt Martin; mother, Juanita Worsham; and sister, Renay White.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 37 years, Crawford Glenn Byrd; children, Barbie (Mark) Cantrell, Joy (Chris) Stoddard, Tina (Charley) Rebottaro, Phil (Tara) Byrd, Glenda “Boo” (Carl) Baker, Brenda Byrd, and Gwenda “Sissie” Byrd; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie (Charlotte) Martin and Brad Martin; special friends, Tony and Kim, Chuck and Teresa, and Shanda.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Springview Baptist Church, Brother Ben Ward and Brother Phil Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Springview Baptist Church, 4220 US-411, Maryville, TN 37801.
