Andy Adam Herron, age 82, of Maryville went home to be with the Lord, Monday July 15, 2024.  Adam loved going to the mountains, going fishing, western movies, and spending time with all his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nora Herron; siblings, Irene Hill, Geneva Hightower, Ruby Herron, Virginia Tucker, Andrew Herron, and Tommy Herron.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Tucker Herron; children, James A Herron, Melvin A. Herron, and Randall L. Herron; grandchildren, Brandy Barton, Shelly Nuchols, Elizabeth Chartrand, Emily Herron, James Herron, Olivia Herron, Joey Herron, Peyton Herron, Lily Herron, Addison Herron, and Archer Herron; great-grandchildren, Drew Barton, Shane Nuchols, Nathan Nuchols, Alyssa Nuchols, Neyland Shope, Nash Shope, Christian Nuchols, Chase Nuchols, and Amelia Stansberry; great-great-grandchildren, Essie Wade, Tommy Nuchols, and Indy Nuchols; special niece, Kathleen Worth; several other nieces and nephews; and all of his friends at Harrison Construction.

A special thank you to doctors and staff of Blount Memorial Hospital, Morning View Rehab, Morristown Hamblin Hospital, and especially Amedisys Hospice Nurses.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, July 19, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel.  Interment will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Nelson Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
