Roger Lynn Melson, age 56, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Melson and brother, John Melson. He is survived by his mother, Lillian Melson Ferguson; siblings, Willie Lovett, Robert Melson, and Joann Mullins; daughter, Angelique Crivea; sons, Glenn Melson and Roger D. Melson; grandchildren, Shyanne, Curtis, and Ethan Crivea; special friend, Elizabeth Ann Melson; special nephew, Scott Meyers; and several other nieces and nephews. Graveside service and interment will be held 2:30 PM Friday, August 3, 2012, at Louisville Cemetery Rev. Tom Pritchett officiating.
