Bethany Lynne Sweger

Bethany Lynne Brown Sweger, age 45, of Friendsville, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012, at her home. She was a lifelong member of Laurel Bank Baptist Church, a Licensed Practical Nurse with over 20 years’ service at Asbury Place of Maryville, and was currently serving as the office nurse for the private practice of Dr. Russell Gibson, MD. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ralph Quinton; step-father, Gary Campbell; and grandparents, Jack and Violet Brown. She is survived by her husband, Major (USA, Retired) Benjamin R. Sweger; mother, Lynda Quinton Campbell; father, Lloyd Wayne Brown; son, Jonathan Lynn Abbott; step-daughters and husband, Jaime Campbell and Kelly and Eric Dickerson all of Lexington, KY; step-son and wife, Benjamin J. and Grace Sweger of Lexington, KY; step-granddaughter, Hayle Campbell; step-grandson, Cameron Dickerson; sister, Brandy Jones; half-brother, Christopher Brown; grandmother, Pauline Ailey Quinton; nephews, Nikolas White, DeAndré Minor, and Gabriel Mincy; beloved Husky, Keanna; and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Laurel Bank Baptist Church, Rev. Charles Bailey and Pastor Jon Abbott officiating. Family and friends will gather 10:00 AM Friday at Laurel Bank Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment.
