John Neil Bryant

J. Neil Bryant, resident of Blount County, born on February 26, 1942, passed away on July 1, 2012 at home. Neil was retired from South Central Bell Telephone Co. in 1998. He was an avid logger and mechanic. He loved working on antique cars and running his sawmill. He is preceded in death by parents, Claude and Flossie Bryant; daughter, Melissa Bryant; brothers, Charles and Carl Bryant; sister, Alice Davidson. He is survived by wife, Peggy Bryant; son, Gary Bryant; daughters, Donna and husband Dana Campbell; Teresa and husband Dewayne Whitehead; grandchildren, Dustin Bryant, Bradley and Brittany, Jacob and MaKenzie, Clint and Sam; siblings, Nolene Hayes, Gwen Boring; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday July 3, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home Cedar Chapel, Rev. Allen Burchfield officiating. The graveside and interment service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
